We have partnered with amazing tastemakers Zendaya, Yara Shahidi and Jeremiah Brown. All three of these public figures have a strong sense of pride in their favorite literature.
Yara Shahidi’s “Voices of Power”
The incredibly talented and educated, Yara Shahidi has curated her reading list, “Voices of Power” highlighting novels about social justice by Black authors. Here are some of the featured novels in her collection!

Zendaya’s “A Vision In Action”
Zendaya, the Disney to Euphoria star we all know and love, has curated a list of books by Black authors centered around the arts and entertainment titled “A Vision in Action”. Check out the novels she chose for the collection!

Jeremiah Brown’s “Love & Identity”
Last but not least, the Love Island Season 7 fan favorite, Jeremiah Brown has had a great deal of success with his book club “Jeremiah’s Reading Room”. Jeremiah has curated a set of Black love and romance novels, “Love & Identity”.

Honoring Communities & Paying It Forward
We are excited to announce that along with partnering with Yara, Zendaya and Jeremiah, Barnes & Noble will also be giving 15% of the book sales from the Celebrating Black Voices collection to various organizations.
The organizations are centered around racial justice, Black empowerment and provide community service. Some of these organizations include the NAACP, Color of Change and Black Lives Matter. So, when you purchase a book from one of the reading lists, make sure to tell your cashier that you are purchasing for the Celebrating Black Voices collection to ensure that a portion of the proceeds go towards one of these organizations!
