In our collection released on February 13th, 2026 we collaborated with the talented designers of Harlem’s Fashion Row.
“Denim Is Love. Denim Is Art. Denim Is For Everyone.“
-Harlem’s Fashion Row Designers

For those who are unfamiliar, Harlem’s Fashion Row is a platform established in 2007 that aims to highlight designers of color in the fashion industry. Designers featured in this collection are Daveed Baptiste, Igdaliah Pickering, Jimmy Latouche, Nicole Benefield, and Waina Chancy.

From the Caribbean to New York City, these designers represent innovation, expression and creativity through denim. The designs in this collection represent more than just an item of clothing, but a representation of culture. Caribbean Designer Jimmy Latouche states, “Growing up from the Caribbean, whenever we had a pair of denim it was like a uniform and it was like something that we lived by.” His highly crafted designs in the collection play with silhouettes, transform traditional denim and include a Denim Bomber Jacket, Balloon Sleeve Denim Shirt & Extra High Rise Stripe Denim Trousers.

Inspired by art and nature, Brooklyn’s very own Daveed Baptiste incorporates waves and curves in all of his designs in the collection.
“I think about crossing the ocean, roads, waves, and migration. They’ll show up in designs graphically through things that feel and looksuper fluid.” – Daveed Baptiste
“I’ve always known I wanted to be in fashion. When I moved here (Haiti → Miami), I realized I could be.”
-Waina Chancey (Designer & former GAP sales associate)

Showcasing the work of Black designers is a powerful way to celebrate Black History Month. Black designers are underrepresented in the fashion industry and only make up 7% of the workforce. Furthermore, Black female designers only represent 5% of the fashion industry. Gap aims to make the fashion industry a more inclusive space for designers of color to express themselves. The designs from Black women highlighted in the collection, made clothing tailored for female bodies. For example, Waina Chancey’s collection includes a Denim Corset Top and IGDALYAH designed a Ruffle Denim Mini Skirt that has already been sold out!
